Uniquely Attuned to Your Needs
Leveraging her more than 25 years of experience – including the technical, administrative, and executive sides of medical practice management – Erin Cammarata is uniquely attuned to the overcoming the challenges that inhibit the profitability of any medical practice.
A Philosophy of Partnership
Erin’s philosophy of partnering with clients to add consistent overall value has led to her extraordinary success in identifying clients’ strengths and weaknesses, to maximize their performance and profitability. Her deep roots in the Orthotics and Prosthetics industry began with fabricating artificial limbs and building body braces as a Certified O&P Technician. This experience on the technical, back-end of the business grounded Erin in the important connections between medical coding, compliance, and successful billing practices.
When her skilled report analysis identified key issues that led to saving her initial employer from financial struggles, she transitioned to the front-end of practice management and oversaw compliance, contracting and medical coding. Her career grew organically, as Erin realized her passion for solving aspects of practice management that often frustrate or confound practice owners. While others dreaded reviewing new Medicare regulations or policies, Erin enjoyed digging in and studying them. She also enjoyed reading industry magazines and knowing the latest means and methods of successful practice management. She subsequently grew to work for other major firms, as Compliance Manager and Practice Manager.
Erin’s experience and results-generating success with major firms led to her next role as a practice management consultant. She served clients by assessing their practice’s workflow and any bottlenecks. She analyzed practitioner and patient care specialists’ notes for risks of noncompliance, and helped prepare records for Medicare compliance inspection. At her clients’ repeated requests for medical billing services, Erin hired an assistant and began offering Medical Billing services.
